Lyrics

O Lord, how many are your works!
In wisdom you have made them all;
The earth is full of creatures.
And the yonder sea is great and wide,

Creeping things innumerable are there,
Living things both great and small.
There go the ships, and Leviathan you formed
These all look to you to give them food;

When you give to them,
They gather it up;
When you open your hand,
They are filled with your love.
When you hide your face,
They are dismayed;
When you take their breath,
They return to the dust.
When you send forth your spirit,
They are created;
And you renew the face of the ground.

May the glory of the Lord
Endure forever; evermore.
May God rejoice in all his works””
He looks on earth, it trembles so.
He touches the mountains and they smoke.
I will sing to God always;
I will sing praise to my God while I have life.
May my meditation please the Lord.

When you give to them,
They gather it up;
When you open your hand,
They are filled with your love.
When you hide your face,
They are dismayed;
When you take their breath,
They return to the dust.
When you send forth your spirit,
They are created;
And you renew the face of the ground.
